Cat eye color is mostly about iris pigment and genetics. It does not reliably predict personality, breed, or how well a cat can see.
Kittens are often born with blue eyes, then develop their adult color as pigment builds in the iris. Common adult colors include blue, green, gold, amber, hazel, and copper.
